About the Event
Taking advantage of the monsoon season, we are launching our forestation drive in Guntur. Our goal is to plant over 1,000 native neem, pongamia, and banyan trees. School children will act as eco-stewards, adopting saplings and pledging to water and maintain them throughout their growth. Water harvesting workshops will also be conducted.
Event Core Objectives
Forestation of barren school lands and village commons.
Hands-on tree planting instructions for local youth clubs.
Water conservation teaching kits distributed to schools.
Creating community boundaries to protect young tree saplings.
